The Book of Cuomo
This morning, the New York Post announced that state editor/radio host/cult of personality Fred Dicker would be writing a not-so-authorized biography of his frequent radio guest, Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The governor’s office said that Cuomo would participate for the book
That led to a flurry of Tweets and online speculation about the book, its subject and its author. But our main question was, What will be the title?
Vanity Fair writer Michael Shnayerson is already working on his Cuomo bio, “The Son Also Rises,” so that one’s taken. We went to Twitter to ask our followers what Dicker’s book should be called, and got back some great responses.
Cuomo and Dicker: The Story Of A Boy and His Dog
I Am The Government: The Andrew Cuomo Story
The Greatest Governor in The History of Time: How One Man Changed Albany, and Then The World
The Father, The Son and The Holy Host(ess)
Beauty and the Beast
The Butcher, the Baker, the Government Maker
The Former Mr. Kennedy
and last but not least:
Oderint Dum Metuant (“Let them hate, so long as they fear” — an infamous motto of Caligula)
Vote for your favorite title, and our art director will mock up the fake cover. We’ll post the results later today.
