New York City Power 100 Poll, Day 2

Written by City & State on . Posted in Blog, Daily, Latest, Uncategorized.

In the Dec. 3 edition of City & State, we will present our first-ever list of the 100 most powerful figures in New York City government and politics. We’re currently compiling the list, and we want your input as to who should be on it. For the next week and a half, you can vote for those people you think we should include. Today’s poll includes a selection of officials from the Bloomberg administration. You can vote for as many people as you like. If we left anyone out, let us know — and tell us why he or she should be included — in the comments section below or via email at editor@cityandstateny.com.

We all know that elected and appointed City officials have real and perceived political power which comes with their titles. I would recommend that you add to your poll the names of non-government leaders who have wielded political power during the Bloomberg years. These folks will likely continue to play a major political role with the next administration. I would add to such a list, Rev.Jacques DeGraff of 100 Black Men and Kathy Wylde of the New York Partnership. These are two leaders that know when and how to exert their political influence.
