Government Collaboration and Modernization

The pandemic has exposed serious shortcomings regarding our antiquated systems and also, on a positive note-- our abilities to be inspired through a rapid call to action from tech and government leaders, advocacy groups, healthcare workers, entrepreneurs and engineers. Whether by helping our hospitals, schools, small businesses, or our most vulnerable communities, New York’s tech sector has been at the forefront of the city’s response. We know it's time to take modernization more seriously and in a faster manner. The question is: Where to begin? How can we cut through the usual red tape and get things to progress faster and more efficiently? This session discusses where to focus, what to prioritize, and how to proceed.

New York is in a constant state of improvement. Technology that Helps All New Yorkers

Technologies are driving high-impact interventions for communities to make them safer, smarter, healthier and make it possible to increase economic re-development. Community, business and nonprofit leaders are constantly working on meeting the pressing needs of all New Yorkers with great and unique ideas and concepts. NY's public and private sectors have always shown the world ways in which we come together in the face of adversity and tech has been at the forefront. Digital accessibility is also an important requirement that all state and city government and companies must be compliant with. We will discuss ways to impact all of our communities through the use of technology and help develop NY's economy and living situations.
