Establishing A Successful Cannabis Marketplace: Best Practices for A Collaborative Approach

Over the next few years, New York’s brand new cannabis industry has a once in a lifetime opportunity to completely create a new market.  Legal cannabis cultivation presents a unique opportunity for the farmers as well as creating up to 50,000 new jobs, many of them union jobs. And what’s more, the sector is built around ensuring social equity, requiring that half of all licenses go to people from BIPOC communities, women, veterans, and distressed farmers.  This is a great economic development opportunity and a chance for New Yorkers to work together and benefit as a whole.  The panel of experts will provide views from the key market players talking about how New York will benefit from this successful cannabis marketplace.
