Event Coordinator

As the events coordinator, Amanda organizes the attendee lists, handles events logistics and liaises with the rest of the events staff to bring each event together. She also works with the editorial team on the power lists and keeps the company’s websites up to date with event details. Amanda joined City & State in February 2019. She graduated cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in international studies in 2014. While there, she interned in district offices with local political interest groups and with a lobbying firm in Trenton, New Jersey, that she went on to work for after graduation. Amanda was born and raised in Central New Jersey and now resides in Jersey City.

Alexis Arsenault

Events Manager

As events manager, Alexis organizes and executes panel discussions, live Q&As, award receptions, nonprofit conferences and customized events featuring powerful politicians, industry leaders and experts from across the state. Alexis joined City & State as New York Nonprofit Media’s marketing and research associate. Alexis graduated from American University with a bachelor’s degree public communication in 2014. While there, she interned at nonprofits, including the National Partnership for Women and Families, Everybody Wins! DC and the Equal Rights Trust. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Alexis now resides in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
