While many high-profile lawmakers in New York represent a new and younger generation, they stand on the shoulders of giants. On Jan. 27, City & State and AARP partnered to recognize 50 leaders over the age of 50 who have shaped New York’s past, present and future during an evening reception at Prince George Ballroom in Manhattan. The event featured keynote remarks from distinguished leaders including former Gov. David Paterson and former state Comptroller and SUNY Board Chairman H. Carl McCall.
