Poll: Do you support the Brexit?

Global markets are seizing, the sky is falling and the United Kingdom's economic future is in flux in the wake of the highly controversial vote in Britain yesterday to exit the European Union.

The impact of the decision is already being felt in the United States, where the New York market saw stocks falling sharply, but most economists agree that we won't know how badly the referendum decision will affect the global economy until the two-year exit process is sorted out. But at least politically, there is a possibility that the nativist outcry that led to the Brexit vote will extend across the pond, as Donald Trump, the likely Republican presidential candidate, has run on a similar nationalistic platform. Even more locally, the Brexit decision has apparently renewed the decades-old debate of whether Staten Island - long dubbed New York City "the forgotten borough" - should secede.

In an effort to gauge reaction to the Brexit decision, we've put out a simple yes/no poll on whether New Yorkers support the UK's decision. Cast your vote in the poll below.
