Electeds share their visions for Queens’ future

Queens is on the upswing. The borough, long overlooked in favor of Manhattan and Brooklyn and their more fashionable neighborhoods, has evolved from a patchwork of quiet residential communities and ethnic enclaves into a destination in its own right.

But while elected officials in Queens proudly tout the borough’s many assets and attractions, they are just as quick to point out the improvements and investments needed to make it a better place for their constituents.
