Now in its 13th year, City & State’s annual New York City 40 Under 40 list recognizes young rising stars in and around city government. On Oct. 30, City & State held an evening reception for this year’s class at Houston Hall, featuring keynote remarks from two alumni of the list: Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and City Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer.
