After the George Santos implosion, Democrats tapped former Rep. Tom Suozzi as their pick to take control of the 3rd Congressional District back from Republicans, since Suozzi represented many of the same constituents before leaving Congress in 2023. Meanwhile, the GOP picked relative newcomer Mazi Pilip, who just won a second term in the Nassau County Legislature. With only a matter of weeks to make their cases to voters, endorsements for the two candidates have already begun to roll in. This post was last updated on Feb. 9, 2024.
