With just a little over a year until New Yorkers vote for Congress, candidates have already hit the campaign trail – and a large part of their efforts right now involves raising money. Embattled Long Island Rep. George Santos was outraised by four of his opponents. Former Rep. Mondaire Jones, who launched his campaign on July 5, only received $40 in contributions during this filing period. In the 22nd District, Rep. Brandon Williams has a strong lead in fundraising, but state Sen. John Mannion wasn’t counted in this filing since he announced on July 13, which was after the filing deadline. Here’s how the top candidates in New York’s competitive congressional races did on fundraising in the previous quarter.
