Alice Popovici

As special projects editor, Alice Popovici oversees the creation of City & State's popular lists that rank New York's most influential figures in addition to editing sponsored content. Alice got her start in journalism covering the police beat for a small newspaper in Arizona and has since written about health care, religion, criminal justice, bankruptcy, art and food. She was a Fulbright fellow in Moldova, where she worked on an oral history project about the Soviet era. Alice has a bachelor's degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She lives in Brooklyn.
