New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams and New York City Comptroller Brad Lander were two of the standout politicians and political figures to attend Monday night’s Met Gala. Absent though were New York City Mayor Eric Adams and former Mayor Mike Bloomberg, who have attended in recent years.
