New state Sen. Erik Bottcher got a surprise on his lawmaker ID card, which included an extremely old photo from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Just like the TikTok trend of taking us back to the '90s, Bottcher’s photo is a throwback to the boy band era. City & State reached out to other state lawmakers to see if their state Legislature IDs also contained terrifically outdated photos – and they didn’t disappoint.
