The Queens district attorney race recount has some questioning their faith in the democratic process.

The Queens district attorney primary election has been a roller coaster ride for even the most casual observer, as the seeming victory of progressive public defender Tiffany Cabán over Democratic establishment favorite Melinda Katz turned into the reverse – with Katz in the lead, but only by 16 votes. 

A manual recount begins this week, but ever since the stunning twist was announced over the holiday weekend, questions and conspiracy theories have swirled around New York’s elections. Now we’re asking you, our readers, to weigh in on whether things are working the way they should be.
